I love it when there are clouds in the sky -- it makes the best sunsets.

The signs of Spring are all around -- from the cheerful, mini daffodils to the robins hopping around on my yard eating the newly laid grass seed!

This is a road I traveled often and never failed to admired the trees.

I am experimenting with drips in this painting. I let it run, painted over it, a back and forth process. Water scenes lend themselves to this paint application, reinforcing the fluidity.

"Tucked In" is 24"x30."

This is a spot I love to return to. It is a boat launch with quiet water that opens up into the Potomac River. I find the shimmering, calm water and and the big, sunny, fast-moving river equally appealing. I want to be in both places at once -- a metaphor for life.
